These terms are the agreement between you and Saswath Venkatesh ("RowdyCareer", "we") when you use rowdycareer.com. By creating an account you accept them.
RowdyCareer searches publicly available job listings, scores them against the resume you provide, and helps you tailor application documents and track where you have applied.
We are not an employer, a recruiter, or a staffing agency. We do not submit applications for you, we have no relationship with the employers whose listings we show, and we cannot influence any hiring decision.
We also publish an optional Chrome extension, RowdyCareer — Save & Fill. It saves a job posting you are viewing to your tracker, and fills application forms from the answers you have saved. It reads a page only when you click its icon, it never presses submit, and it deliberately skips sensitive fields such as social security numbers, dates of birth and payment details. Every application you send is reviewed and submitted by you. What the extension reads and stores is set out in section 3 of the Privacy Policy.
Listings are collected from public sources including Greenhouse, Lever, USAJobs and Adzuna. We pass them on as published. That means:
We do not promise you will get a job, an interview, or a reply. You are paying for the search, matching and document tools — not for an outcome.
New accounts on the Starter plan get 7 days free. The Pro plan has no free trial and begins billing immediately. A payment method is required to start the trial. You are not charged during the trial. If you cancel before it ends, you pay nothing.

On day 8 the plan you chose begins and renews monthly until you cancel. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that may apply where you live.
You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal — you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not require you to call or email to cancel.
Monthly payments are generally non-refundable, since cancelling prevents the next charge. If you were charged in error, or the service was unavailable for a meaningful period, contact support@rowdycareer.com and we will make it right.
We will give at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change. You can cancel before it takes effect.
Some features are marked Coming soon in the app. They are not part of what you are paying for today, and we do not commit to a date. Paid subscribers get them at no extra cost if and when they ship.

We may suspend an account that does these things. Where the breach is not serious, we will contact you first.
Your resume, documents and tracker remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service for you — storing and displaying your data back to you. We do not use your resume to train models, and we do not share it with employers or recruiters.
The RowdyCareer software, design and name belong to us. The documents you generate are yours to use freely.
We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give notice and refund any unused prepaid period.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. We are not liable for indirect losses, including lost job opportunities or lost earnings.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
You may delete your account at any time from settings. We may terminate an account for a serious breach of these terms, with notice where practical. On termination your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
We will email you before material changes take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, and any dispute will be heard in the courts located there.
